Terms and conditions of booking

This website provides online booking of tourism products from Värmland with safe payment via credit card or some internet banks. Products and suppliers are described under each respective heading. If you need further information on any of the products, all contact information to the respective supplier can be found under each product.

The booking site makes booking of several products possible, as well as making up your own packages and/or combinations. For example: a cottage in Torsby can be combined with a theatre ticket for the Västanå Theatre in Sunne ( if the house is booked during the theatre season, of course). A canoe tour on the Svartälven river can be followed by one or two nights at a lovely hotel in Sunne.

All products available for booking are provided by suppliers in Värmland and members of the Boka Värmland Ek.förening (Association).

Who is responsible?
BokaVärmland ek.förening is responsible for all products available for booking on this site. The address to BokaVärmland is: c/o Sunne Turism, 41. Kolsnäsvägen, 686 80 Sunne.
BokaVärmland follows the general terms & conditions for travel, as regulated 1993-02-02, with changes in section 5.5 and 5.6, as agreed between the State Consumer Dep. and the organisations of the Swedish Tourism & Travel industry. Special terms are noted under each product.

When is my booking conclusive?
Your booking is considered binding as soon as it has been confirmed by Boka Värmland, regardless if you have made any payment, partly or in full. The booking must also fulfil the requirements specified at each product. These conditions can also be found under each listed product.

Credit/bank card payment
How do I pay?
You can use VISA, American Express or Mastercard. 100% payment is required at the time of booking. Confirmation is received via your e-mail. OBS! Card payment is only possible if a minimum of 3 working days remain prior to arrival.
Step 1: Choose your card, VISA, American Express or Mastercard. Our solution works for bank/charge cards as well as credit cards.
Step 2: Fill in card number and date of expiry.
Step 3: Confirm the correctness of card number, expiry date and total sale amount. The information will then be transferred to the DebiTech payment processing gateway and furthered to us.
Step 4: You will be notified if payment can be processed or not.

Security
Booking Värmland has developed its online payment solution in cooperation with DebiTech. All information exchange is encrypted, making all data fully exclusive and inaccessible to outsiders. Encryption by international standards ( SSL or SET ) guarantees a safe purchase. Furthermore, card numbers are not stored either by DebiTech or by us, thereby increasing security even more.

How safe is online card payment?
The first type of risk is that the card number could be ?hijacked? when it is processed via the Internet and used inappropriately. This risk is more theoretical than real. An enormous amount of work would have to be done just to ?catch? the card number as it passes the net. Secure transfers also use powerfully encrypted data, making intrusion virtually impossible. The risk of inappropriate use of your card number is far greater in restaurants and regular shopping.

The buyer can safely execute online transactions.
The second type of risk is that someone, without your knowledge, should use your card number in online transactions. In this case you, as the card holder, are generally well protected. The normal demands are that you keep your card safe at all times and always blocks the use of the card if it is lost.

Payment via your Internet bank
100 % payment is required at the time of booking. Confirmation is received by e-mail. Attention! Payment via Internet bank is only possible if a minimum of 3 working days remain prior to arrival.
How do I pay?
Make your purchase as normal. When you are asked to choose payment alternative, choose your Internet bank. We are presently connected to SEB, Swedbank, Nordea and Handelsbanken. You will then be linked to your bank for your normal in-logging procedure.
